Bottled On A Shelf

    My inspiration for this piece was the metaphorical phrase of "bottling up your emotions and putting them on a shelf". You cannot physically bottle up your emotions and that's what many people do. 

     I started this piece off by sketching the three bottles and the details that were within them and after I had gotten the bottles how I desired, I then started on a shelf for them to sit on and proceeded to place them accordingly. Within the blank spaces of the shelves, I added books to create balance within the piece. After everything was drawn and mapped out I added value by using Prismacolor pencils.
